Squab Dressed as Toads
I'll open this blog with a horrendous photo from 'The Art of French Cookery' published in 1960. It's called 'Pigeoneau a la Crapaudine'
The book translates that as 'Squabs dressed as Toads'
I personally thing it means 'Pigeons that look like Crap'
